A 47-years-old, Suliman bin Abd. Lah has set a bar by accomplished his dream to cycle for 10, 000 km from Malaysia to Mecca to perform Hajj. After two years of practicing, a father of 6 children covered the ‘Longest Distance Solo Cycling’ from Padang Serai, Kulim on April 8, 2018. Suliman, who is Assistant Manager of the Penang Bridge Bridge Electric and Electronic Unit, also received guidance from professionals to deal with the route that would be passed during the 4-months-journey. This mission totally tests Suliman's physical and mental endurance as he was on a hot-roll route across several countries including Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Iran, Oman, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

KAYUHAN BASIKAL PALING JAUH SECARA SOLO
Seorang lelaki berusia 47 tahun, Suliman bin Abd. Lah telah berjaya mencapai impiannya dengan berbasikal sejauh 10, 000 km dari Malaysia ke Mekah untuk menunaikan ibadah haji. Selepas dua tahun berlatih, bapa kepada 6 orang anak ini berjaya mencipta rekod iaitu, 'Kayuhan Basikal Paling Jauh Secara Solo' dari Padang Serai, Kulim pada 8 April 2018. Suliman merupakan Penolong Pengurus Unit Elektronik dan Elektrik Jambatan Pulau Pinang, turut mendapat bimbingan dari ahli profesional bagi mengetahui laluan sepanjang perjalanan selama 4 bulan. Misi kayuhan basikal kali ini benar-benar menguji ketahanan fizikal dan mental Suliman kerana sepanjang perjalanan beliau berpanas di beberapa negara termasuk Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Iran, Oman, UAE dan Arab Saudi.
